Grant Writing

For my own business and for previous employers, I have written and obtained grants, contracts, and donations from private philanthropical foundations, state government, and non-profit organizations (since 2016), in amounts up to $1,480,000. I have also managed grant reporting, evaluation, and deliverables for private, state, and federal grants (since 2011), for grants up to $990,000 and 1.25M. I have also led successful fundraising efforts for the non-profit childcare on which I served as a board member and for screenings of my childcare documentaries.

Success Rates:

International Data Systems: We received 8/11 of the contracts for which our team applied and in which I played a role in preparing the application. Of the applications on which I was the primary writer and project manager, we received 5/6.

Alaska Children’s Trust: We received 5/5 of the funding sources to which I led the applications; however, one of the funders awarded less than originally asked, so this could be calculated as 4/5
