Court Expert Witness Testimony

If you need an unbiased expert witness on topics related to children’s and family’s well-being, I am available for this on a contract basis.

Based on 22 years of post-college professional experience working with children and their families, and doing research, project management, healthcare systems work, victim advocacy and counseling, training, and cross-sector organizing work on the issues of domestic and sexual violence, reproductive coercion, maternal child health, adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), trauma-informed care, early childhood development, and breastfeeding, I can offer information and perspectives to aid your clients in the courtroom.

During the spring of 2026, I served as an expert witness in a Child in Need of Aid (CINA) case, helping to offer perspectives on these topics in an Anchorage courtroom. I am experienced and educated on the topics named above; am comfortable with judges, attorneys, and court processes; and have training and years of experience as a victim advocate and social worker, which aids me in supporting clients who are scared or upset during the court process.

Having also gone through custody hearings for my own children, I have additional personal experience to aid your clients or aid you in helping your clients to prepare emotionally for the process.
